Reservation and booking policy

Booking Details:

Once the charter has been booked, write down the phone number, date, time and meet at the booking kiosk attached to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville at 76A Harbor Boulevard Destin, FL 32541 . Before arrival, please confirm departure date and time at least 2 days (48 hours) prior to the trip. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure.

Departure Details

Charters are available year round. Departures are offered daily 7am-1:30pm based on availability. Please call 850-424-5555 for current schedule and pricing. It is best to reserve your charter at least 14 days in advance to avoid sellouts.

Duration: Half (1/2) day or 3 hour afternoon

Half day trips are no longer than 5 hours from 7:00am or 1:00pm scheduled departure times and 3 hour trips are no longer than 3 hours from the time of scheduled departure.


Public parking is available at the Harborwalk Village located at 10 Harbor Boulevard, Destin, FL 32541. Once you park, head to the booking office where Margaritaville is located.


● Bait, tackle and ice.

● State Fishing license

● Experienced USCG licensed captain/guide

● All safety equipment under US Coast Guard, uninspected passenger vessel (6 pack).

● Must be at least 18 to reserve this charter.

● This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.

● The boats are US Coast Guard approved for 6 passengers maximum and 1 crew

Additional Information

● Customers are asked to bring a hat, sunblock, food and beverages, sunglasses and camera. Do not bring a cooler because the captain has one on board for customers to put their food and beverages in.

● There are no bathrooms on board, but the captain is close enough to shore to make a stop if needed.

● Customers will be fishing a Center Console Boat with outboard engines.

● The captain will fillet and bag any legal fish that the customer catches on the trip. Please tip appropriately for all the hard work that is done on the trip.

● There are no guarantees that the customer will catch the target species, but the captain has a very high success rate in finding and catching certain species.

● Glass bottles and bananas are prohibited on the boat

● Trips stay in the bay/pass or near shore within nine (9) miles in Florida State waters as per the Natural Resources Boundary.

● Absolutely no GPS devices will be allowed on the boat.

● What you can expect to catch (depending on the season) is sheepshead, redfish, trout, skip jack, bluefish, flounder, Spanish mackerel, red snapper, grouper, triggerfish, amberjack, mingo snapper, white snapper, shark, cobia, king mackerel.

● If it rains, charters will still go out fishing. However, if there is excessive fog, wind, or lightening, the trip will not go. Trips are always decided based on the captains discretion at the time of departure, not based on the prior weather forcast. Once the boat has departed the dock and/or slip NO refunds or rainchecks will be credited. All “no shows” on the day of the charter will be charged in full and NO refunds and/or rainchecks will be credited.

Cancellation Policy

Customer must cancel at least 2 days (48 hours) prior to their arrival date to receive a full refund. Customers that cancel after the 48 hour period will not be refunded unless the captain has to call off the trip due to inclement weather at the time of the scheduled departure. In this case, another day will be scheduled. Customer may make changes to the reservation without any fees as long as it's outside the 48 hour cancellation period. NO refunds or rainchecks once the 48 hour cancellation policy has expired and/or the boat has departed the dock/slip. We do not prorate.
